From my research I have discovered that Bauer Media Group is a privately-owned company, which was founded by Heinz Bauer in 1875 but it is currently owned by his granddaughter, Yvonne Bauer. It is one of the world's most successful media companies as well as being one of Europe's largest publishers of magazines.
They're headquartered in Hamburg, Germany as well as having operations in 20 countries around the world. They have people creating magazines, digital formats and radio across Europe in order to inform and entertain with their content that is mainly specialised for women, teens and young adults. They have a large events business, which allows them to create and produce a number of popular live events and concerts for people that they publish for in order to get the most out of their passions and interests and fulfil their needs.
Some of their best known brands include Cosmopolitan, which was produced to "encourage, strengthen and motivate women to live their wishes, dreams and desires with confidence helping them to live a happy and self-determined life". Another was Empire which is an entertainment brand as well as an influential film. Tele Tydzien is "hugely popular with both men and women as an entertainment listings magazine, a self-help magazine and a guide to the world of television". Lastly, the Maxi France "offers practical advice, tips and tricks that simply readers' everyday lives. It brings them the very latest trends in fashion, beauty, decoration and much more.
